Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection is a 2012 fighting compilation developed by Dimps for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, bundling remastered high-definition versions of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 1 and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3. The visual upgrade brings Budokai 3's graphics in line with those seen in Dragon Ball Z: W Bakuretsu Impact. Both titles include Trophy and Achievement support. Because the original composer Kenji Yamamoto's work faced plagiarism allegations, the collection replaces the soundtracks entirely, drawing music from several other entries in the franchise — including the Budokai Tenkaichi and Raging Blast series — along with newly composed tracks and the American Dragon Ball Z theme. Both games offer an optional Japanese language track, though European releases of Budokai 1 include only the Japanese audio option, consistent with how that title was originally released in the region.
