Drill Dozer is a platform game developed by Game Freak, released in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance and later available on Wii U. Players control Jill, the daughter of a crime boss, who pursues a rival gang after they steal her family's heirloom. Her vehicle of choice is the Drill Dozer, a powered suit of armor fitted with a large drill that can be upgraded over the course of the game. This drilling mechanic serves as the foundation for navigation and combat across six distinct areas, each populated with varied enemies and boss encounters. The game blends traditional side-scrolling platforming with the distinctive gimmick of the drill, which opens up environmental interactions and traversal options that define the overall experience.
Doug -- who is the leader of a bandit gang known as The Red Dozers and also Jill's Father -- was ambushed by a rival gang known as the Skullkers. They attacked the Red Dozers to steal the powerful Red Diamond, a gift from Jill's dead mother. To retrieve it, Jill mounts the powerful vehicle, the Drill Dozer!!
