Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition is an open-world action RPG developed by Techland and released in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A comprehensive package combining the base game with the substantial story expansion The Following, it centers on survival in a city overrun by a zombie virus, where players scavenge for resources, craft weapons, and navigate the environment using fluid parkour movement. The Enhanced Edition introduces the Legend progression system and improved visuals alongside various gameplay refinements. The Following expansion extends the experience with new story content, additional characters, original quests, and new weapons. Most notably, it adds a fully drivable and customizable dirt buggy that can be equipped with weapons, attachments, and cosmetic decals. The edition also includes all previously released bonus content, making it the most complete version of the Dying Light experience.
Players will again take the role of Kyle Crane, and will be thrown into Harran’s outback region, rife with the infected, where they’ll encounter a mysterious, and seemingly all-powerful cult, capable of changing the face of Dying Light’s world. To infiltrate and unravel dark secrets of The Following, Kyle Crane will need to face all-new challenges and use his abilities to the limit.
