EA Playground is a mini-game collection developed by EA Canada and released in 2007 for the Wii and Nintendo DS. The game organizes its content around a single-player campaign and a multiplayer party mode, with all activities drawn from traditional schoolyard pastimes. The roster includes dodgeball, tetherball, wall ball, dart shootout, slot car racing, and paper airplane racing, alongside Kicks, a hybrid sport combining elements of soccer and volleyball in the style of sepak takraw. Additional mini-games become available as players advance through the single-player campaign, providing incremental rewards for progression. The Wii version makes use of motion controls suited to the physical nature of the activities represented. The overall package is designed as a casual, accessible experience built around recognizable playground concepts rather than simulation-style depth.
