Electronic Super Joy 2 is a brutally difficult indie platformer released in 2019, available on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Built around a pulsating electronic music soundtrack spanning 38 tracks, the game tasks players with running, jumping, slashing, and blasting through more than 55 levels populated by giant monsters, swarms of missiles, and hidden secret areas. A world map connects the main stages to side challenges, alternate routes, and collectibles, with the overall experience clocking in at over eight hours. Four major boss encounters anchor the campaign, which centers on a quest to acquire Mega-Satan's legendary golden butt.
