Ellipsis is a minimalist arcade puzzle game developed by Salmi Games and released in 2017 for Linux, PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch. Players navigate a small ship through more than 150 hand-crafted levels spread across eight distinct worlds, avoiding enemies, spikes, lasers, and other hazards along the way. The game contains no text whatsoever — all guidance is communicated through its clean neon visual design, making it accessible to players of any age or language background. Levels can be approached aggressively, threading through enemies before they can react, or more methodically, uncovering secrets hidden within each world. A built-in level editor with Steam Workshop support extends the experience beyond the base content. Controls accommodate mouse, gamepad, and touchscreen input. The soundtrack was composed by Filippo Beck Peccoz, complementing the stripped-back aesthetic that defines the overall experience.
