Eureka Seven Vol. 2: The New Vision is a 2007 action game for PlayStation 2 set within the world of the Eureka Seven anime. The story follows Sumner Sturgeon, a former military man turned professional lifter — a competitive air sports athlete — who has grown disillusioned with that life. When a lost love unexpectedly reappears, she draws him into a mission to uncover and prevent the development of the CFS, or Compact Feedback System, a dangerous new technology. The game builds on the sport of lifting, the series' signature aerial riding discipline, while weaving in a narrative of personal conflict and moral consequence. Developed as a continuation of the first volume's storyline, it offers players an original scenario that runs parallel to the broader themes of the source anime.
