Released in 2016 by SCS Software, Vive la France is a major map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, available on PC, Linux, and Mac. It adds an extensive representation of France to the base game's world, introducing 13,500 kilometers of new roads and highways alongside 23 new cities ranging from large industrial centers to small rural villages. Players navigate wide urban boulevards, narrow country lanes, complex interchanges, and real-location-inspired roundabouts while hauling a range of new cargo types to newly added French companies and connecting deliveries to the broader European network. The expansion includes a French tollgate system, five nuclear plant zones among its new industries, and enhanced environmental detail featuring varied vegetation and distinct forest ecosystems that reflect regional differences between northern and southern France. Notable landmarks and recognizable locations are scattered throughout the map.
