EyeToy: Play 2 is a 2005 PlayStation 2 party arcade collection developed as a follow-up to the original EyeToy: Play, requiring the EyeToy USB camera to translate the player's physical movements into in-game actions. The package features 12 new mini-games spanning a range of activities, including flipping burgers to satisfy customers in Mr Chef, competing in table tennis matches against an AI opponent, and defending a goal in Goal Attack. Beyond the primary mini-games, the collection includes more than 75 bonus games designed to demonstrate potential directions for EyeToy technology. The variety of activities touches on simulator, sport, and arcade sensibilities, making the game a broad showcase of motion-based gameplay for the platform. Physical interaction through the camera remains the central mechanic throughout the entire package.
