Fantasy World Dizzy is a platform-adventure game developed by Codemasters and released in 1989, available on the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64/128, Amiga, Atari ST, and DOS. The game follows Dizzy, an egg-shaped protagonist, after he is captured by the Evil King's trolls and imprisoned in the dungeons of Fantasy World, while his companion Daisy is taken to Wizard Weird's Tallest Tower. Using items found in his cell — including bread, water, and an apple — Dizzy must devise an escape and ultimately rescue Daisy. Gameplay combines platforming traversal with inventory-based puzzle solving across a fantasy environment, requiring players to collect and use objects in the correct sequence to progress. The game is part of Codemasters' long-running Dizzy series and represents an early example of the puzzle-adventure hybrid that defined the franchise throughout the late 1980s.
