Farming Simulator 17: Platinum Edition is an agricultural simulation game developed by Giants Software and released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Players manage a working farm across three large open-world environments, including a South American map exclusive to this edition that features distinctive landscapes, unique vegetation, sugarcane fields, local cattle, and a functional railway network. The game includes over 275 licensed vehicles and pieces of equipment from more than 80 manufacturers, among them established AGCO brands such as Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Challenger, and Valtra, alongside Platinum-exclusive brands like Stara, Bizon, and Gessner Industries. Crops available for cultivation include sunflowers, soybeans, and sugarcane, while livestock management covers cows, sheep, chickens, and pigs. Forestry, freight transport by truck and trailer, and train operation round out the gameplay. Cooperative online multiplayer and community-created mod support extend the experience further.
