Farsiders is a 2023 action-adventure hack-and-slash game for PC set across two distinct worlds: Ostahl, a futuristic technology-driven realm, and Tellune, an ancient mythical kingdom rooted in Arthurian legend. Players control Cassandra, nicknamed Cassie, the youngest member of an organization called the Spectralon, who is pulled through a mysterious portal into the past after a terrorist faction known as the Soul Syndicate attempts to harness dark magical forces. The game uses a real-time combat system viewed from an isometric perspective, with encounters against more than 30 enemy types and numerous boss fights. Combat draws on a combination of swords, firearms, and magic, with collectible spell cards that can be paired with various Spectek weapons to suit different playstyles.
