Fatal Fury Special is a 2D fighting game developed by JVC Musical Industries and released in 1993 across a wide range of platforms, including Arcade, Neo Geo AES, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega CD, Turbografx-16/PC Engine CD, and several others. An enhanced entry in the Fatal Fury series, it assembles a roster of 15 characters drawn from across the franchise, including previously antagonistic figures Geese Howard and Wolfgang Krauser, who become playable for the first time. Players compete in one-on-one matches across a variety of arenas, drawing on the series' established mechanics while benefiting from the expanded character selection.
