FlingSmash is a Wii puzzle-action game developed by Artoon and released in 2010. Set on the fictional Suthon Island, it follows Zip, a hero retrieved from a treasure chest by the leader of the nature spirits, and Pip, a companion from the neighboring Eesturn Island. The two set out to recover sacred pearls and defeat the antagonist Omminus, who has seized control of the island with ambitions of world domination. His takeover has caused the island's protective palm tree to wither and left the island's princess gravely ill. The nature spirits, drawing on an old legend, believe Zip is destined to restore peace. Gameplay centers on flinging the characters across levels to collect those pearls and confront Omminus, combining puzzle elements with the motion controls of the Wii hardware.
