Fluidity: Spin Cycle is a puzzle-platformer developed by Curve Studios, released in 2012 for the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The game centers on controlling a body of water through a series of obstacle-laden stages, with the player physically rotating the 3DS handheld to guide the fluid across each level. This gyroscope-driven control scheme forms the foundation of the gameplay, requiring players to tilt and spin the device to navigate the water around environmental hazards and solve physics-based puzzles. The liquid-centric mechanics lend themselves to a distinct style of challenge compared to conventional platformers, as momentum, flow, and the behavior of water under simulated gravity all factor into progression. As a follow-up to the original WiiWare title, Spin Cycle adapts the concept specifically for portable play, making deliberate use of the 3DS hardware to deliver its core interaction.
