Fort Boyard is a sport and adventure party game developed by Appeal Studios and released in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac. Based on the long-running television series of the same name, it places one to four players inside the iconic stone sea fortress, where they must complete a series of challenges to collect keys and ultimately reach the treasure room. The game features 12 activities drawn directly from the show, alongside five characters recognizable from the television program, including Sir Fouras and Passe-Partout. Four playable characters are available, and the experience scales across both solo and multiplayer formats. In single-player, the focus falls on gathering keys and clues through individual trials, while multiplayer offers both cooperative and versus modes. Success across the fort's challenges depends on endurance, dexterity, and persistence in accumulating Boyard coins.
