Frantix is a puzzle-adventure game developed by Killer Game, released in 2005 for the PlayStation Portable. The game presents over 150 levels, the majority of which must be unlocked through progression. Each stage operates under a time limit, requiring players to find solutions efficiently before the clock runs out. Levels are designed to mislead — the most direct-looking path is often not the most effective one. Throughout each stage, players contend with a variety of obstacles, environmental hazards, deadly traps, and hostile creatures that impede progress. The combination of time pressure and deceptive level design encourages careful observation and lateral thinking rather than straightforward navigation.
