Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! is a 2D platformer and creature-building simulator developed by Asobism for the Nintendo 3DS, released in 2011. Players construct their own characters, called Formees, by assembling and arranging various body parts and shapes to produce eccentric, highly personalized creatures. Once built, these Formees are brought to life and sent out to explore colorful 2D worlds, where they move and behave according to the physical forms their creators have given them — meaning the shape and layout of a creature directly influences how it navigates the environment. The game emphasizes open-ended creative expression, allowing for an enormous variety of possible character designs ranging from vaguely animal-like to entirely abstract. Additional features support sharing creations with other players, extending the experience beyond solo construction and exploration.
