Freeride is an indie RPG adventure developed by Flightyfelon Games Inc., released in 2025 for PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch. The game centers on a journey aboard a train bound for the Spirit World, where players interact with a cast of troubled characters and navigate a branching narrative shaped by their choices. Rather than tracking morality through a good-or-evil alignment system, the game monitors player behavior in the background and responds to what it calls a Subconscious Personality, meaning consequences emerge from actions whether or not they were intentional. Each act can be resolved in four distinct ways, and a single playthrough of roughly four to six hours reveals only about a third of the full story, encouraging multiple runs to uncover the broader narrative. Telekinesis is a central mechanic, used to manipulate the environment in both practical and unconventional ways. The overall design functions as a kind of personality test, with no prescribed correct approach to play.
You'll never know when the game is watching your actions.
You'll never be judged in terms of Good or Evil.
You'll simply have to live with the consequences of your actions... Whether you intended them or not.

FREERIDE's story reacts to your Subconscious Personality, so each person's first 4-6 hour playthrough will be different.
In fact, you will only see ~1/3 of the full story in a loop, so playing again is recommended to experience to full narrative.
Life is always easier with experience, you know. *)
