Frogger: Ancient Shadow is a 2005 platform game developed by Hudson Soft, released for Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and PlayStation 2. The game follows Frogger as he works to reclaim Firefly Swamp from the schemes of the villainous Dr. Wani, journeying across seven distinct worlds and more than 30 levels. Core gameplay revolves around the series' traditional hop-and-dodge mechanics, expanded here with a range of character moves including a double jump and tongue grab. A multiplayer mode supports up to four players across mini-games on all platforms. As a bonus, each version of the game includes the original 1981 Frogger arcade game.
