Point-and-click adventure developed by WizarBox and released in 2010 for PC, Xbox 360, and Wii, written by Jane Jensen, creator of the Gabriel Knight series. The game follows two protagonists: Dr. David Styles, a reclusive neurobiologist living in the gothic Dread Hill House, and Samantha Everett, a street magician who arrives at his door seeking work. Samantha's first assignment is to recruit six volunteers — dubbed "The Lamb's Club" — to serve as test subjects for Dr. Styles' experiments at Oxford University. What begins as seemingly routine research gradually gives way to a series of unexplained incidents, raising questions about the true nature of the work and what lies beyond ordinary perception. Players alternate control between the two characters across eight chapters. The narrative blends scientific inquiry with supernatural elements, exploring themes of reality and the power of the human mind, presented in a gothic storytelling style consistent with Jensen's previous work.
When student and part-time street performer Samantha Everett shows up at his doorstep, she unexpectedly becomes his assistant. Hailing from America, she has been travelling through most of Europe the last couple years. Her first task: finding six test subjects at Oxford University for one of Styles` experiments. The experiment starts off innocently enough, but then inexplicable incidents start mounting.
