Gregory Horror Show is a puzzle-adventure game developed by Capcom Production Studio 3 and released for PlayStation 2 in 2003, based on the animated series of the same name. The player controls a protagonist trapped in a hotel populated by supernatural and eccentric guests, including the hotel's namesake owner Gregory and a troublemaking child named James. The central objective, as directed by Death, is to collect soul fragments stored in milk bottles held by the various residents — acquiring them all is the key to escaping the hotel and uncovering the circumstances that led the protagonist there. Progress depends on interacting with guests and completing straightforward puzzles to obtain each fragment. The experience is governed by a spirit meter that depletes over time; once it runs out, the game ends, adding a layer of urgency to the otherwise slow-burn exploration and puzzle-solving.
