Gun Gun Pixies is a third-person shooter and adventure game developed by Compile Heart, released in 2017 for PlayStation Vita and later brought to PC and Nintendo Switch. Players control two miniaturized alien characters, Usamaeru and Kamerieru, who have traveled from their troubled home planet of Pandemo to Earth on a research mission. Their objective is to study human behavior by infiltrating a college dormitory, where ordinary surroundings appear enormous in scale. Rather than conventional firearms, the pixies carry weapons loaded with Happy Bullets that produce positive effects on the unsuspecting residents. Gameplay is divided across three stage types — Search & Combat, Pacification, and Bathing — each with distinct objectives. Stealth is central to progression, as sight and sound gauges track whether the girls detect the pixies. Sniper vantage points, enemy encounters including squid-like creatures, boss fights, and a shop offering weapons and cosmetic upgrades round out the experience.
