Gunbarich is an arcade-style breakout-shooter developed by Psikyo, first released in arcades in 2001 and later made available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. Players control a flipper to strike a pink puck across the screen, breaking blocks to clear each stage while managing a countdown timer. A defining mechanic allows the flipper to deflect enemy bullets back at opponents, dealing significant damage when aimed accurately. Left and right inputs give players directional control over both the puck and reflected projectiles. Two playable characters are offered — the wizard Marion and the pirate Grutan — each with different power, speed, and magic ratings. Extensive configuration options include difficulty, lives (one to nine), continues, screen orientation, and an Arrange mode with reduced item drop and bullet speeds. Online leaderboards and a fixed-parameter Score Attack mode support competitive play.
