A rhythm game for PlayStation 4, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone is a home console adaptation of the arcade release Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Arcade Future Tone, developed by Crypton Future Media and released in 2016. Players tap, hold, and time button inputs to the beat of songs featuring Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloid performers, following note patterns synchronized to elaborate music video sequences. The game offers a substantial library of over 200 songs spanning a wide range of styles associated with the Vocaloid music scene. Outside of the core rhythm gameplay, players can collect more than 300 costume modules to customize the appearance of the virtual performers. The breadth of its song selection and cosmetic content made it one of the most comprehensive entries in the Project Diva series at the time of its release.
