Hellpoint is a dark science fiction action RPG developed by Cradle Games and released in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Mac, Linux, and Google Stadia. Players take on the role of a Spawn organically created by a mysterious authority and deployed to Irid Novo, a vast derelict space station that was once a pinnacle of human achievement before a catastrophic quantum event — known as the Merge — caused beings to fuse with alternate versions of themselves and drew malevolent interdimensional entities into the colony. The station orbits a black hole in real time, dynamically altering enemy placement, boss appearances, and combat conditions as the orbit progresses. Character builds draw from dozens of melee and ranged weapons, each developing unique abilities through use, alongside varied armor sets. The full game supports cooperative play, either online or via local split-screen, with shared loot and independently saved progression for both participants.
Once a pinnacle of human achievement, the Irid Novo space station has fallen. Its ruins are now overrun by cruel interdimensional entities acting as puppets of the malevolent Cosmic Gods. You have been created by the Author, organically printed on Irid Novo and sent on a mission to find out the unholy series of events that led to the catastrophic incident known as the Merge.
