Hidden & Dangerous 2: Sabre Squadron is a 2004 tactical shooter expansion for PC, developed by Illusion Softworks as a standalone addition to Hidden & Dangerous 2. It introduces nine new single-player missions and seven new multiplayer maps, including a completed version of the "Poland" deathmatch map that had previously appeared in unfinished form in the base game's intro sequence. Five new weapons are added to the arsenal: the RPzB 54, MAS-36, G43, a suppressed P08, and a Harrington & Richardson Mk VI flare pistol. A breath-holding mechanic when aiming through telescopic sights adds further precision to long-range engagements. Multiplayer gains a cooperative mode alongside the existing deathmatch options. The expansion also provides access to the original Hidden & Dangerous 2 mission set through its own interface, making it a reasonably comprehensive package for returning players.
