Hour of Victory is a World War II first-person shooter developed by N-Fusion Interactive, released in 2007 for PC and Xbox 360. Set across the European and North African theaters, the game places players in large-scale military engagements drawn from key moments of the conflict. A central mechanic involves choosing between three distinct soldier archetypes: a covert operative suited to stealth infiltration, a British Commando built for direct assault, and an Army Ranger capable of long-range sniping. Each character brings different abilities to bear on shared mission objectives, and completing those objectives often requires drawing on the strengths of all three classes. The game emphasizes that no single playstyle is sufficient on its own — success depends on understanding when and how each archetype's particular skills are best applied to the situation at hand.
