Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cipher is a first-person VR shooter-adventure developed by VIVA Games and released in 2019 for PlayStation VR and PC via SteamVR. Players control Tyre, a former special forces soldier who travels to Yingzhou Isle — a remote location within the legendary Dragon Triangle — to investigate his mysterious past. After his plane is shot down by unknown creatures and he loses contact with his companions, Tyre discovers signs of human activity on an island long thought unreachable, and gradually uncovers the origins of an ancient Chinese legend. Combat draws on a range of close- and long-range firearms, archery, and melee weapons across encounters with mercenaries, supernatural creatures, and ancient guardians. Environments span sea-cliff peaks, sprawling ruins, and underground mazes. The game features full free movement in VR and a cast of named supporting characters. Tyre is voiced in English by Doug Cockle, known for portraying Geralt of Rivia. The title was nominated for Best Action and Adventure Game at the 2019 TIGA Games Industry Awards.
