Import Tuner Challenge is a street racing game developed by Genki and released in 2006 for the Xbox 360. Set entirely on the Shuto Expressway network of Tokyo, Japan, it carries forward series staples from the Tokyo Xtreme Racer lineage, including the C1 and Shinkanjō highway loops. Unlike its predecessor TXR3, the game omits routes through Nagoya, Osaka, and Yokohama, instead introducing two new Tokyo sections — Route 3 Shibuya and Route 4 Shinjuku. Players work through a roster of 415 rivals across these urban expressways, competing in the head-to-head battle format characteristic of the series. The focus remains squarely on Tokyo's highway system, giving the game a more concentrated sense of place compared to earlier entries that ranged across multiple Japanese cities.
After the 13 Devils have been defeated once more in the Kaido Circuit, Motoya Iwasaki, aka Speed King, disappeared suddenly, leaving without a trace. Since then, many drivers from all the Japan come to Tokyo in order to have his title of "Speed King". The hero here is the best friend of Iwasaki and beats Bloodhound, Midnight Cinderella, Platinium Prince, Skull Bullet's gang & eventually, the Phantom 9. In the meantime, Bloodhound reveals to the racer why Iwasaki has been depressed for a long time : his girlfriend died because she was ill and Iwasaki wasn't there to support her.
