Kemono Heroes is a side-scrolling run-and-gun action platformer developed by MadGearGames, released in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Drawing inspiration from classic 16-bit arcade games, it features four distinct animal warrior characters, each with individual abilities and combat styles, navigating four worlds divided into three stages apiece. Players slash, dash, and shoot through waves of enemies, collecting unlockable weapons and power-ups along the way.
