King Arthur is a hack-and-slash action platformer developed by Konami and released in 2004 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube, based on the Jerry Bruckheimer film of the same name. Players can choose from five characters — Arthur, Lancelot, Tristan, Bors, and Guinevere — each with a distinct set of attacks and combo moves. The game unfolds across photo-realistic environments drawn from the film, with transitions between cutscenes and gameplay designed to flow without interruption. Combat takes place both on foot and on horseback, with dedicated mounted combat levels adding variety to the action. A multiplayer mode allows multiple players to compete against one another in direct combat, extending the experience beyond the single-player campaign.
