Hudson Soft's Kororinpa: Marble Mania is a puzzle-platform game released for Wii in 2006 in which players physically tilt and rotate the Wii Remote to guide a marble through a series of three-dimensional mazes. The control scheme allows full 3D manipulation of the environment, including tipping stages sideways or completely upside down. Across more than 40 stages set in varied environments — including a magical forest and neon-lit cityscapes — players collect crystals to unlock new marbles and hidden stages. With 20 distinct marble types, each offering different handling characteristics and visual styles, progression brings meaningful variety to the gameplay. A two-player competitive race mode is also included. The straightforward motion controls were designed to be accessible across a wide range of ages and experience levels, making the game broadly approachable without sacrificing the depth found in its later, more demanding stages.
