Kung Fu Rider is an action game developed by SCE Japan Studio for the PlayStation 3, released in 2010. Designed around the PlayStation Move controller, it places players on a sliding office chair and tasks them with navigating through the congested streets of Hong Kong. Physical gestures made with the Move controller drive the moment-to-moment action, translating the player's movements into on-screen maneuvers as the chair careens through urban environments packed with obstacles and enemies. The premise blends absurdist comedy with kinetic gameplay, making the unconventional choice of an office chair as a vehicle central to its identity. As one of the early titles built exclusively around Sony's motion control peripheral, Kung Fu Rider served as a showcase for the Move's capabilities at the time of the controller's launch alongside the game in 2010.
