LEGO Battles: Ninjago is a real-time strategy game developed by Hellbent Games and released in 2011 for the Nintendo DS. Set within the Ninjago universe, the game tasks players with building and commanding armies across a series of missions centered on recovering powerful ninja weapons and restoring harmony to the world. The campaign can be approached from either side of the conflict, letting players lead the ninja forces of Spinjitzu against the Skulkin, or take control of the Skulkin themselves in battles against the ninjas. The game's central mechanic involves deploying Hero troops, managing forces, and making use of Spinjitzu abilities to overcome enemy opposition. A multiplayer mode is also included, allowing two players to compete and determine whose army holds the advantage.
