Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story is a 2024 interactive documentary game from Digital Eclipse, available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Developed as part of Digital Eclipse's Gold Master Series — the same label behind Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration and The Making of Karateka — it chronicles the career of British independent developer Jeff Minter through a virtual museum of design documents, video features, and 42 playable classic games spanning eight platforms, from the Sinclair ZX81 and Commodore VIC-20 through to the Atari ST and Atari Jaguar. Titles include Gridrunner, Attack of the Mutant Camels, Llamatron, Tempest 2000, and Sheep in Space, among others. A remastered version of Gridrunner, rebuilt with updated graphics and audio while preserving the original Commodore 64 gameplay, is also included. Two early light synthesizer programs, Psychedelia and Colourspace, round out the collection with controller-optimized options.
