LocoRoco Cocoreccho is a platform-puzzle game developed by SCE Japan Studio and released on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 in 2007. Part of the LocoRoco series, it takes an unconventional approach to the genre by functioning as what the developers describe as an "interactive screensaver." The game features a self-running two-dimensional environment in which the world and its characters continue to animate and move independently, even without player input. This autonomous quality distinguishes it from traditional platform games, placing the emphasis on passive observation as much as active engagement. The title supports full high-definition output at 1080p resolution, making it one of the earlier PlayStation Network releases to take advantage of the PS3's display capabilities at that standard.
