Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked is a survival adventure game developed by Hudson Soft and released in 2008 for the Wii, marking the series' first appearance on a home console. Players are stranded on a tropical island featuring diverse environments including forests, ancient ruins, a sunken ship, and an active volcano. The goal is to explore the island, uncover its mysteries, and either find an escape or establish a permanent life there. The game makes extensive use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for motion-controlled activities such as fishing, carpentry, and fire-making, spread across roughly 40 mini-games, some of which support cooperative play. A companion pet assists with item gathering and provides additional interactions, while a human friend can also be recruited. Vibrant 3D graphics and dynamic weather systems represent a significant visual upgrade from previous entries, and an introductory tutorial eases new players into the survival mechanics.
