Lumines Supernova is a music-puzzle game developed by Q Entertainment, released on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 in January 2009. Carrying forward the content of Lumines Live!, it tasks players with rotating and placing two-by-two blocks to form same-colored squares, which are then cleared by a sweeping timeline synchronized to music. The package also incorporates the sequencer mode from Lumines II, allowing players to interact with the soundtrack in a more hands-on way. A new addition exclusive to this release is DigDown Mode, a time-limited challenge in which players must clear two vertical lines within a set period to advance to the next stage. Unlike Lumines Live!, online multiplayer is not included. The game otherwise retains the full feature set of its predecessor, making it a comprehensive single-player compilation of the series up to that point.
