A platform-adventure puzzle game developed by Game Republic Inc. and released in 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom is set in a realm that was consumed by a malevolent force roughly a century before the story begins. The dark corruption annihilated nearly all inhabitants, and every attempt to reclaim the land was crushed by creatures born from the darkness. The narrative centers on a resourceful young stranger who wanders into the desolate kingdom and forms an unlikely alliance with Majin, an enigmatic, physically powerful creature. The two protagonists work together to push back the corruption, with their partnership serving as the central mechanic throughout the game. As they progress, they gradually uncover the secrets buried within the ancient land and piece together Majin's obscured origins.
