Mart Racer is a 2009 Wii racing game in which players compete as shoppers navigating their carts through various types of stores in a race to complete a shopping list before opponents do. Control is handled by holding the Wii Remote like a handlebar to steer the cart, while gameplay mechanics include drifting, aisle-jumping, throwing plungers at rivals, and snatching groceries directly from competitors' carts. Security guards patrol the store and pose an additional obstacle. The first player to check out with all required items wins the round. Designed to be accessible to a broad age range, the game supports single-player matches against the CPU as well as multiplayer for up to four players, with both split-screen and online competitive modes available.
