Me & My Katamari is a puzzle-adventure game developed by Namco, released in 2005 for the PlayStation Portable. The story begins when the King of All Cosmos, vacationing with the Royal Family on a tropical island, accidentally triggers a tsunami that destroys the nearby Paradise Commonwealth Island. After a displaced turtle recounts the damage, the King tasks the Prince with building replacement islands for the affected animals using katamari. Gameplay follows the established formula of the Katamari series, with the Prince rolling a sticky ball across environments to accumulate objects and grow larger. The Prince's mission takes place across the Sunflower Continent, which contains all the materials needed to construct new landmasses. As the first mainline Katamari title on a handheld platform, the game adapts the series' core rolling mechanics to the PSP's control scheme while maintaining the eccentric premise and structure familiar from earlier entries.
