Mega Maze is a 2017 strategy and indie puzzle game developed for PC (Microsoft Windows) and Wii U. Rather than simply finding an exit, players navigate multi-floor labyrinths by collecting keys, unlocking doors, and managing route-finding tools such as transparent walls and breadcrumb trails. Teleporters — both one-way and two-way — and floor holes add further complexity to traversal. The game ships with 60 stock puzzles alongside 70 community-created levels, and a built-in maze editor allows players to construct their own multi-floor challenges using the full set of available elements, including key fragments, doors, holes, and teleporters. The combination of vertical level design and interconnected puzzle mechanics distinguishes it from more straightforward maze titles, positioning spatial reasoning and planning as central skills throughout both the curated content and the player-created designs.
