Megamind: Ultimate Showdown is a 2010 action-adventure game developed by THQ Studio Australia, released across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation Portable, and Nintendo DS. Set in the aftermath of the animated film's events, the game picks up with Megamind having assumed the role of the city's protector, only for a sudden surge of criminal activity to threaten the peace he has established. The antagonistic Doom Syndicate, backed by their Doom Goons, launches a bid to seize control of the city, and Megamind must confront them using his signature collection of gadgets. Players take on the role of the newly minted hero as he works to suppress the crime wave and repel the organized threat, with his technological arsenal serving as the primary means of overcoming enemies and progressing through the game.
