Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is an open-world action shooter developed by Pandemic Studios and released in 2008 for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Set in a war-torn Venezuela after a power struggle disrupts the country's oil supply and triggers a full-scale invasion, the game casts the player as a mercenary operating amid the resulting chaos.
