Mia and the Dragon Princess is a live-action interactive movie from Wales Interactive, released in 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The story centers on Mia, a barmaid who feels stuck in a life she never wanted, bound to her workplace by loyalty to colleagues who have become a surrogate family. When a frightened, non-English-speaking woman named Marshanda arrives at her bar and proves to be the target of violent thugs, Mia's choice to protect her sets off a chain of intrigue and danger. Player decisions are tracked through a real-time attribute system that shapes the narrative, with ten possible outcomes depending on the choices made. The cast includes Paul McGann, MyAnna Buring, and martial artist Dita Tantang, with fight choreography handled by Marcus Shakesheff, whose credits include Wonder Woman and Guardians of the Galaxy.
