
Millennia is a turn-based 4X strategy game developed by C Prompt Games, released in 2024 for PC. Players build and guide a civilization across ten ages spanning roughly 10,000 years of history, from early human settlements through to speculative futures including space travel. Progression is not strictly linear — completing certain objectives can shift the timeline into a Variant Age, an alternate-history era introducing distinct rules, technologies, and units, while neglecting order and stability risks triggering Crisis Ages marked by war, disease, or ignorance. Nation identity is shaped through customizable Nation Spirits that reflect cultural, military, or economic priorities. The economy system requires players to convert basic resources into more valuable goods, specialize regions, and manage supply chains across an expanding empire. Research unlocks new units, buildings, and improvements. Late-game Victory Ages allow the leading civilization to set the winning conditions, prompting rivals to either race toward the same goal or actively obstruct it.
