Set in 2054, Minority Report: Everybody Runs is a hack-and-slash beat 'em up developed by Treyarch and released in 2002 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube. The game follows John Anderton, head of the PreCrime division — a law enforcement unit capable of arresting individuals before they commit murder. When a PreCrime report identifies Anderton himself as a future killer, he becomes a fugitive working to expose the conspiracy behind his false accusation. Gameplay unfolds across 40 futuristic levels populated by human and robotic enemies, with combat drawing on both hand-to-hand techniques and a variety of weapons. A jetpack adds a vertical dimension to traversal, allowing movement through environments in ways that extend beyond standard ground-level exploration. The structure closely follows the premise of the film on which it is based, keeping Anderton's flight from authorities and search for the truth at the center of the experience.
