Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire is a 2006 mecha shooter and simulator developed by Namco Bandai Games for the PlayStation 3, set within the long-running Gundam anime franchise. The game takes place nine months after the Zeon forces launched their initial assault, at a point when the Earth Federation is preparing a large-scale counteroffensive. Players choose a side at the outset — either enlisting with the Earth Federation to push back against Zeon, or joining the Zeon military to suppress the Federation's resistance. This faction choice shapes the player's campaign, offering two distinct perspectives on the same conflict. The game draws on the broader Gundam universe's established lore of large mechanized suits in combat, translating the series' signature warfare into a playable format on Sony's then-newly launched console.
