Möbius Front '83 is a turn-based tactical strategy game developed by Zachtronics and released in 2020 for PC, Mac, and Linux. Set in 1983, it depicts a conflict in which the United States must repel an invasion from a mirror-image America originating in an alternate universe, with both sides vying for control of the country's heartland. Combat draws on early-1980s military hardware — tanks, attack helicopters, artillery, and infantry — across a battlefield that shifts rapidly and demands careful resource management. The single-player campaign is accompanied by fully voiced cutscenes that gradually explain the nature and motivation of the invading force. Beyond the main campaign, the game includes Zachtronics-style logic puzzles, a solitaire variant, and reproductions of U.S. military field manuals. A subsequent update introduced skirmish multiplayer against AI or Steam opponents, a Soviet Army faction, and the ability to play as the enemy force after completing the campaign.
